On November 2, Kimura Kaela announced that she would be taking a break from Instagram.

Kimura wrote, "I'm sorry to those who looked forward to it. As of today, I'm going to say 'good night' to Instagram. I'm going to hoard all of my thoughts and feelings inside of me, and focus on my lives and works. That's what I want to do, and I want to know what will happen. Good night. I LOVE YOU." 

Kimura has over 337,00 followers on Instagram. Her posts mainly consisted of her colorful fashion and hairstyles. 

Fans of course were sad to hear the news and left comments, such as, "I'm in shock that I won't be able to see Kaela-chan's updates anymore," and "I'm a little sad... but if that's what Kaela-chan has decided! Though it would make me happy if you came back."
