ET-KING leader Itokin has announced that he has been suffering from pulmonary adenocarcinoma, a type of lung cancer. In order to focus on treatment, he will be taking a break from his live activities scheduled for this year.

At his annual check-up, Itokin was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 cancer. While he revealed that the cancer is spreading to his lymph nodes and brain, he declared, "As ET-KING's leader, Osaka's blues man, and track maker of HIP HOP, I want to face my music and philosophy and continue leaving more pieces of work. I want to live!"

During Itokin's break, ET-KING and OSAKA ROOTS will continue their activities.
