Flower member Fujii Shuka has announced her retirement from showbiz. 

Since October, Fujii had been taking a break from performing due to a cervical herniated disc. On her reason for retirement, she explained that her condition has worsened, "I don't want to cause anymore trouble than I already have. In addition, I want to broaden my potential in a different world and place and find new things I want to challenge and achieve them. These feelings kept increasing on a daily basis." On her future activities, she commented, "I want to spend my time studying things like art, fashion, painting, and photography to express myself."
