A new AKB48 sister group called MUM48�will form in Mumbai, India.�

This was announced by AKB48 general manager�Yokoyama Yui�on December 27 during a special program on SHOWROOM.�MUM48 will be AKB's fifth overseas sister group following�JKT48�(Indonesia),�BNK48�(Thailand),�TPE48�(Taiwan), and�MNL48�(Philippines). The logo color for�MUM48 will be green representing India's wealth of nature, growth, and energy.�
