On May 30, actress Tabata Tomoko (37) appeared on NTV's 'Konya Kurabete Mimashita SP' where she announced that she and husband, actor Okada Yoshinori (41) are expecting their first child.�

Tabata said shyly, "I'm afraid this is a personal matter, but my husband and I are expecting a child." She shared that she is due at the beginning of November.�

Okada also wrote on Twitter, "At this time, I would like to announce that I, Okada Yoshinori, and wife Tomoko have been blessed with a baby. Right now, we are joyous about the miracle of welcoming a new family member. At the same time, we are praying everyday that the baby will be born without any problems. This is an important time for us, so it would make us happy if you would watch over us kindly with a warm heart."

According to Tabata's agency, the actress will go on maternity leave after filming for her current drama.
