It's been announced that Sexy Zone member Matsushima Sou has been diagnosed with panic disorder and will be going on hiatus to receive treatment. 

Matsushima had often been sick since about a year ago. After seeing the doctor, he was diagnosed with panic disorder, which was the reason why he has been in poor physical condition. 

In order to recover, his doctor told him to take a break from work and focus on getting better. As such, Matsushima decided to take a temporary break from his activities. He commented, "It's a bitter decision to make while receiving warm support, but I have decided that it is most important to overcome this illness right now. To the fans I love and persons concerned and also to the members who are like my family, I am very sorry. With thanks to everyone's support, I ask that you please continue to support Sexy Zone."
