On April 26, actor Mizushima Hiro (35) and singer-songwriter Ayaka (31) announced that they are expecting their second child.

In a blog entry, Mizushima wrote, "I am happy that we will be gaining a new family member. I am very thankful. I will raise him or her carefully. We find out the sex soon. I am in charge of choosing the name, so I want to know already."

On the name, Mizushima expressed, "It's the first present you give your child when he or she enters the world. It's the name that will represent you for your whole life. I want to think about it carefully so he or she will like it."

Then on the baby's sex, he commented, "People ask me which I prefer, but I don't care as long as both mom and baby are healthy."

Ayaka also shared the happy news on Instagram, "I am due in fall. I hope to spend my days leisurely while praying that the baby is born without any problems." She revealed that she plans to continue her activities, "There will be times when I want to sing, so I will continue to work when possible until summer."
