On May 30, actor Koike Teppei's wife, actress Haru Natsuko updated her blog announcing her pregnancy. 

In an entry titled "It's been a while since I last updated," Haru announced, "It's a personal matter, but I have been blessed with a baby." Although she is now in her stable period, she had to cancel her appearances in some events for movies. "I am very sorry to have caused worries and troubles," she apologized. 

Haru revealed, "I feel lost and worried throughout my pregnancy, but when I think about the small life inside of me, I am filled with a lot of love I've never felt before." She continued, "While enjoying the things I can only do now, I hope to make preparations for welcoming our new family member."
