On July 10, former NGT48 member Sugahara Riko updated her Twitter account announcing that she has signed with Avex Management.�

Sugahara wrote, "While receiving guidance from many people I will be working with, I hope to challenge myself to many things, mainly singing and dancing, and do my best in order to be active in many fields."
