Nogizaka46's Sakurai Reika will graduate from the group after wrapping up their nationwide tour 'Nogizaka46 Manatsu no Zenkoku Tour 2019' on September 1 at Meiji Jingu Stadium (Tokyo).�
On her blog, Sakurai wrote, "These past few years there have been an increase in graduating members. Watching them work hard in their respective fields, I felt that I should soon create a new milestone beyond Nogizaka46." She expressed, "For the group to grow more, for my future colleagues, and most of all, for myself. I hope to do my best and become independent as soon as possible, so that everyone can take pride in me being Nogizaka46's first captain."
