STU48 member Ichioka Ayumi has announced that she will be graduating from the group after their handshake event on August 11. 

Ichioka announced on the group's official website, "I'm sorry for the sudden announcement. I, Ichioka Ayumi, will graduate from STU48." She explained, "There is a part of me that wants to stay here, but thinking about my future and talking it through with the management, I chose the path to graduate." 

Although she hasn't revealed what her future plans are, she stated, "I'll work toward my dreams in order to live a life without regret." Finally, she expressed, "Thank you for making me an idol. I love everybody. Thank you very much."
