On October 27, actor Wada Masato's wife Yoshiki Risa updated her blog announcing the birth of their first child, a baby girl. 

Yoshiki announced, "At this time, our first child, a healthy baby girl was born. Thankfully, both mother and baby are healthy." She continued, "I am grateful for my husband who always supported me with a smile when times got tough as well as our child who grew healthily inside of my belly." 

She also expressed, "I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and guidance up until the day of my delivery. Without forgetting these grateful feelings, we will do our best as a family of three, and support this child so that she will be able to live a wonderful life supporting the many people she meets along the way." 

Wada also commented on his blog, "I am really thankful for my wife who nurtured this life in her belly for the past ten months. Also, I want to say 'thank you' to our baby who was born to us with a healthy cry. Moreover, we were able to welcome this day thanks to everyone who gives us their support everyday." 

Yoshiki and Wada married on November 22, 2017, then announced their pregnancy this June. Earlier this month, Yoshiki revealed her maternity photos in anticipation of baby's arrival.
