On December 30, the final selection for the '61st Japan Record Award" was held, and Foorin's "Paprika" won the grand prize.�

Foorin is a group made up of elementary and middle school students. Member Moeno made an appearance via telephone when the grand prize was announced. With a shaking voice, she commented, "Thank you so much! I am filled with gratitude."�
