It's been announced that SUPER?GiRLS member Ishibashi Hotaru will graduate from the group on December 31 and end her contract with Avex Management.

Ishibashi had been on hiatus since August due to her poor health condition. According to an announcement on the group's official website, Ishibashi felt it was difficult to continue her activities in showbiz and wanted to concentrate on her studies. As such, her graduation and termination of contract were decided. She commented, "I believe SUPER?GiRLS will continue to move forward toward their 10th anniversary. Everyone, please continue to support them as before. During my hiatus, the only thing that filled my time and mind was 'drawing.' Although I will not be an idol anymore, I hope to return to my roots and utilize my encounters and experiences in order to express myself in a different way."
