On May 28, model Nishiyama Maki updated her official Instagram account sharing a photo of herself with model/actress Yamada Yu. 

Nishiyama started by saying, "My English teacher looked at me through the [computer] screen and said wow!!" She wondered what it was all about when her teacher continued, "You look like her!! ummm.... she is japanese actor!!!" revealing that she was told that she looks like Yamada Yu. 

Nishiyama then wrote a brief message to Yamada, who is currently said to be residing in Los Angeles, "Yu-chan, you and I are always connected no matter where we are." Fans agreed that the two look alike in the photo that she shared.
