It's been reported that NEWS member Tegoshi Yuya will be halting his activities until further notice.

On May 15, some weekly magazines reported that Tegoshi attended a party with several women at a restaurant in Tokyo last month. As such, it was decided that he would not be participating in the charity song "smile" sung by Twenty★Twenty, a special unit comprised of 15 Johnny's groups. 

Afterwards, similar reports surfaced, and while confirming the facts, some details were different from what had been published, but Tegoshi had indeed participated in the reported parties.

With the State of Emergency Declaration in effect, Johnny's & Associates had ordered their talents to refrain from nonessential outings. As it had been confirmed that Tegoshi had participated in more parties, it was decided that he refrain from all entertainment activities.
