On Johnny's & Associates' official website, it states, "We would like to announce that it has been confirmed that Johnny's Jr.'s Fukushi Nobuki has been infected with the new coronavirus." They explained, "What we can currently confirm is that the first symptoms appeared on June 30 when he developed a fever. However, since June 16, he has not come into contact with any Johnny's talents, Johnny's Jr. employee, or related staff. As such, there are no persons considered to be a person of close contact as defined by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare." As such, they will be continuing business as usual.
They also commented, "However, if we find that someone has been in close contact with him outside of our company, we will notify the situation to each person and ask them to seek further instruction from the public health center."
