AKB48 members Omori Maho, Oguri Yui, Kubo Satone, Nishikawa Rei, and Yamauchi Mizuki have formed a new unit called 'IxR.' On August 30th, they will hold an online live titled 'IxR Reality Reality Smile.' 

The unit name 'IxR' stands for "idol" (I) and "cross reality" (xR). They plan to carry out their activities utilizing VR and AR. Besides a regular live broadcast of the members, their online live will feature an "oshi camera" that will focus on a specific member. Those who wish to use the "oshi camera" feature will have to purchase a special "oshi ticket." 

There will actually be 2 shows held on the same day. Those who purchase tickets will be entered into a lottery, and 48 lucky fans (for each show) will be invited to the actual venue. There will also be limited edition goodies on sale at the venue.
