It's been reported that AKB48 member Oya Shizuka has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. 

According to Watanabe Entertainment, Oya had a fever on August 11th, but her temperature returned to normal later that day. However, she started feeling really tired the following day, so she visited a medical institution in the Tokyo area. She had the PCR test done, which came back positive on the 13th. 

As of August 14th, Oya was experiencing a headache and chest pains, as well as changes to her senses of taste and smell. She is currently resting at home by order of the health center. There are no persons of close contact in AKB48 as well as Watanabe Entertainment.
