On August 1st, Sada Masashi was appointed guest professor at the Tokyo University of the Arts. 

The day after the appointment date, August 2nd, Sada made a guest appearance at the charity concert 'Kazuki no Heya Tokubetsuhen ~Atarashii Nichijou e~May new days come as soon as possible.' held at the university's music hall. During the event, which housed 67 guests instead of 1,100 (maximum venue capacity) with social distancing set in place, Sada played the violin with the university's president Sawa Kazuki and held a talk show with president Sawa and professor Yanai Michihiko. Afterwards a surprise award ceremony was held for Sada's appointment as guest professor.
