On September 13, actress Tokoshima Yoshiko (55) announced through her agency that she has married a doctor. 

According to the announcement, they were introduced to each other by an acquaintance at a gym they both attend. One day, Tokoshima saw him poolside with her friend, immediately knew that was him, and fell in love at first sight. She was attracted to his silver-grey hair, solidly built body, and his sincerity and gentlemanly qualities.

They started dating soon after with marriage in mind. However, Tokoshima had felt anxious as she had never lived with anyone else before. She couldn't get herself to express those feelings verbally, so she sent him several messages instead. After a while, she was able to organize her feelings and became determined to get married. When September came around, the two went to a government office to submit their marriage registration papers.

Tokoshima wrote on Instagram, "I can't believe it myself, but I got married! Honestly, I had never imagined that such a thing would happen in my life. Right now, I have put an end to my long, single life, and am digesting this happiness that I have never experienced before every single day. Please continue to support me."
