It’s been announced that AKB48 members Nunoya Riru, Inoue Miyu, and Shiobara Karin have ended their activities in the group as of September 24.

AKB48’s managing company DH posted on the group’s official website, “Regarding our company’s Nunoya Riru, Inoue Miyu, and Shiobara Karin, we accepted their intent to quit, and after discussions about their future activities, it was decided upon mutual agreement that we terminate our managing contract. As a result, their activities as a member of AKB48’s Team 8 have come to an end.” They did not reveal the reason for their wanting to leave the group.

Nunoya, Inoue, and Shiobara joined the group in 2019 representing Akita, Iwate, and Niigata Prefectures respectively.
