After 5 seasons, "Food Wars: Shokugeki no Souma" comes to an end this week. The series finale will be completely different from the manga, and will be broadcast at 16:30 UTC via Crunchyroll (and other legal streaming services around the world).
The original post on Twitter explains how the series will end: "Finally, the next episode will be the last in the anime! We are sure that you will like the taste different from the original, so wait for next week's episode! "
Shokugeki no Souma is a manga series written by Yuuto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki. Yuki Morisaki also collaborated on the manga, providing the recipes for him.
The manga has been serialized in Magazine Weekly Shounen Jump since November 26, 2012, being compiled into 31 volumes of tankōbon by Shūeisha.
