On September 22, it was reported that former TOKIO member Yamaguchi Tatsuya was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Yamaguchi admitted to the suspicion saying, "I was on my way to a friend's house." 

According to investigators, the incident occurred on September 22 at around 9:30 am. Yamaguchi was driving a motorcycle and struck a car waiting at a traffic light in Tokyo's Nerima Ward. The man driving the car called the police and arrested Yamaguchi after he failed the breathalyzer test. Nobody was injured in the accident. 

In April of 2018, Yamaguchi was under investigation of sexual assault after drinking and forcibly kissing a high school girl. Then in May, his prosecution was suspended, and Johnny's & Associates terminated his contract.
