Former ZONE vocalist & bassist MAI (34) has given birth to her first child, a baby boy.

On September 18, she wrote on Instagram, "The other day, I safely gave birth to a boy! Both I and the baby are healthy. I can still very clearly remember his first cry. I was so moved that my entire body shivered. Another dream of mine has come true. I have gained another person that I want to protect." 

On going back to work, she commented, "As for YOGA, I hope to gradually get back to it while monitoring my body." Finally, she expressed, "I was really supported by the medical staff. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart. Thank you also to everyone who have always cheered me on. Please continue to support me!"

MAI started her music activities in 1997. After ZONE disbanded, she discovered yoga in 2015 and has been a yoga instructor since 2016. She had announced her pregnancy earlier in June.
