On September 29, NMB48 Team BII vice captain Yamada Suzu (18) announced her graduation via the group's blog. 

Yamada reflected, "Since I was little, it had been a dream of mine to become an idol. By joining NMB48 and becoming an idol, my fans helped me to realize one of my dreams." She continued to explain, "I didn't have any goals beyond that, so there was a time I was troubled, but as I said last year during our anniversary live, I want to become an actress. In order to become one, I need to study little by little, so I decided to graduate from NMB48." 

Yamada expressed, "Being active in NMB48 for about four years, there were many frustrating and difficult times, but thanks to my fans' support, I was able to make it this far. Also given the role as vice captain of Team BII, I felt I was really supported by my fellow members." 

Yamada joined NMB48 as a fifth generation member in 2016. She has been the vice captain of Team BII since last year. Her sister is Yamada Nana (28) who graduated from NMB48 back in 2015.
