On September 9, talent Ono Nonoka (28) and swimmer Shioura Shinri (28) announced their marriage via their respective social media accounts. 

Ono wrote, "I apologize for this sudden announcement under circumstances in which the coronavirus situation hasn't settled down yet. But I, Ono Nonoka, have married swimmer Shioura Shinri-san whom I have been dating for some time." 

She continued, "He is always forward-thinking and has the ability to cheer up the people around him. The time spent with him is very warm, fun, and happy. He made me realize that there is so much happiness in the ordinary days. I wanted to support him with everything I have, and build a family together that's full of laughter." 

Finally, she stated, "While being grateful for everyone's support, we will do our best, so please continue to guide and encourage us." 

Meanwhile, Shioura commented, "Until now, competition has been at the center of my life, but due to the coronavirus disaster, I have been able to spend more time with her. Besides  competition, I had never imagined that there could be so much happiness in my daily life. Thanks to her, I have been able to be positive even though the Olympics have been postponed." 

He added, "From now on, I will work towards my goal with the best partner. I ask for your continued guidance and support."
