On October 8th, Otona Keikaku announced that actor Abe Sadawo (50) has been infected with the novel coronavirus.

They delivered the news on their official website, saying, “After taking the PCR test, our company’s Abe Sadawo received a positive result on the night of October 7th, confirming that he has been infected with the novel coronavirus. He currently does not have any symptoms.” He will properly deal with the virus with instruction from the health center. 

Abe is scheduled to appear in the stage play ‘Furimun Sisters’ from October 24th to November 25th at Bunkamura Theatre Cocoon. Their official website states that rehearsals have been put on hold as of October 8th due to Abe’s infection of the virus. They will resume rehearsals and put on the play with guidance from the health center.
