It's been announced that four members of the rock band Novelbright have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. As such, they will be refraining from their band activities for the rest of October.

According to an announcement on their official website, the infected members are Oki Sojiro (G), Yamada Kaito (G), Keigo (B), and Negi (Dr). On the night of October 11th, one member started feeling sick so they all visited a medical institution to get tested. While they are all receiving treatment, their symptoms have stabilized. The remaining member Takenaka Yudai (Vo) was considered to be a person of close contact, so he was instructed by the health center to refrain from activities for the rest of the month as well. 

Novelbright's one-man live that's scheduled to be held on November 4 in Osaka will be held upon consideration of the members' conditions and following guidelines to prevent the virus spread. The members and staff apologized to their fans and all persons concerned for the trouble caused at this time.
