Singer Hamasaki Ayumi (42) has announced that she is pregnant with her second baby.

Hamasaki held an online live on her birthday, October 2. After the live, she wrote on her official blog, “I will not forget this shocking year of 2020 when we experienced a pandemic which was like getting lost in a tunnel without an exit. I believe that this [live] was the final stage that was necessary for me to powerfully take my next step.”

She then added her pregnancy announcement, “Currently, my second angel is growing inside of my stomach. I am looking forward to having a big family!!” She asked, “For the sake of my children, It would make me happy if you would please quietly watch over my private life.”
