Hata Motohiro's new song "Nakiwarai no Episode" will be used as the theme song for NHK's upcoming morning drama 'Ochoyan' to begin on November 30. 

"Nakiwarai no Episode" was written based on the story of 'Ochoyan.' It portrays the protagonist Chiyo's dedication as she does her best to live her life everyday. 

Hata commented, "It would make me happy if this song would gently nestle into the start of everyone's days." To commemorate this tie-up, a digest video featuring the singer's past songs has been uploaded onto YouTube. You can also check it out below.
