On the October 14th broadcast of 'Imoto Ayako no Suppinshan' (TBS Radio), comedian Imoto Ayako talked about her best friend, actress Takeuchi Yuko for the first time since her death on September 27.

The two became close friends after co-starring in Mitani Koki's stage play 'Kimi to Nara' in 2014. Often posting photos of each other on their Instagram accounts, Imoto was the only person that Takeuchi followed on Instagram. Imoto had also previously mentioned on a TV program that she was the closest with Takeuchi among her celebrity friends. After Takeuchi's death, many people had voiced their worries about Imoto.

Imoto started the program as her usual cheerful self, but towards the end, she thanked her fans and people around her for contacting her and worrying about her.

She sniffled as she said, "Honestly... honestly, I still haven't sorted out my feelings. It's just, I still have my lifestyle and work, so I am moving forward with those things. Personally, I am trying to stand firm... right now, I can only stand firm so that is what I'm doing."

She continued, "What I felt from Yuko-san was that she really loved me a lot. The truth is that she gave me lots and lots of love. Whenever something good or difficult or sad happened, I always told Yuko-san before anyone else. At those times, she was more happy, sad, and angry than anyone else. Even myself... I really felt that I got a lot of love from her. I also love Yuko-san from the bottom of my heart."

Imoto showed that she is working hard to move forward, "It's true that I am losing confidence in a lot of things, but I am going to stand firm and do my best.
