Kis-My-Ft2 members Miyata Toshiya and Tamamori Yuta's unit songs "BE LOVE," "Hoshi ni Negai wo," and "Unmei" will be adapted into an original drama titled 'BE LOVE' to air on dTV for 4 consecutive weeks beginning October 16. 

Through "BE LOVE" (2015), "Hoshi ni Negai wo" (2018), and "Unmei" (2020), Miyata and Tamamori portrayed how two people deeply love one another. In particular, "BE LOVE," which has the theme of marriage, received a lot of attention as the two have performed it holding hands and used the hanamichi (passage through audience to the stage) at dome venues as the virgin road (aisle that the bride walks down). Afterwards, with "Hoshi ni Negai wo," the two shocked fans by unfolding a story with the theme of bereavement. Finally, fans have been awaiting the storyline of "Unmei," the last of the series that features the theme of jealousy, as it has not been performed yet. 

As such, for the first part of Kis-My-Ft2's drama project with dTV, it was decided that the three songs will be adapted into a drama with Miyata and Tamamori, who have thorough knowledge of the songs' worldview, involved in the planning and screenplay. The two will work on a love story with the themes "marriage," "bereavement," and "jealousy" to deliver four cruel yet beautiful episodes. 

In the drama, Tamamori will play the role of a picture book writer and Miyata an editor. In order to finish a picture book, the two visit a seaside villa and spend their days full of love. However, their fate is twisted as Tamamori suffers an unfortunate death. Tamamori's death brings deep grief to Miyata ; meanwhile, Tamamori, who is supposed to be dead, is driven by extreme jealousy. 

On the highlight of the drama, Tamamori commented, "My kiss scene with Miyata-san is really a striking scene. Also, by turning the three songs into visual form, you will be able to understand the two's relationship better." Meanwhile, Miyata reflected, "A lot of things have happened in my 20 years with Johnny's, but this was my most shocking work."
