Model Masuwaka Tsubasa announced on her 35th birthday, October 13, that she will be the editor-in-chief of a new magazine.
In a YouTube video, Masuwaka reported, "I have an announcement for everyone today. I, Masuwaka Tsubasa, will be the editor-in-chief for a magazine!"
The magazine is called 'Tokyodot,' and it's scheduled to hit store shelves this November. Masuwaka will serve as one of the two editor-in-chiefs.
Not only will Masuwaka be involved in the production side, but she will be appearing in the magazine as well. It's been over a decade since she last appeared in a magazine.
'Tokyodot' will be a fashion and culture magazine with the theme "a textbook not used in the classroom." Masuwaka said, "I hope it will become a place where people can learn about things they don't learn in school."
She also mentioned that they are not set on one particular group as the target audience. "Men, women, LGBTQ, anyone can read it. People in their twenties and thirties can read it as well. I'm also thinking about things that students can read," she stated.
