On October 5, model Michibata Angelica (34) updated her Instagram account announcing the birth of her second child.

Michibata wrote, “It’s personal, but I would like to announce that I gave birth to my second child, a baby boy, the other day. When I first found out about this baby at the beginning of the year, I had just made the decision to divorce my ex-husband and chose to become single, so honestly, I was full of hesitation and anxiety.”

She continued, “Right now, I am so happy that I know I made the right decision to ‘become single and give birth to this baby.’ When I think about it, I believe that this baby pushed my back at that time. Thanks to my two sons, I was able to become stronger. My two sons also gave me a lot of courage.”

Finally, she stated, “Right now, I am just happy that my second son was born without any problems. While I still have a lot of uncertainty, I will raise the two by myself, and do my best as a woman and mother. It would make me happy if you would please watch over me warmly.”

On December 25, 2017, Michibata had announced her marriage to a non-celebrity Korean national. They welcomed their first son in July of 2018. Michibata’s husband was arrested and sent to prosecutors on suspicion of extortion in October of 2019. While they were not charged, Michibata took a break from her activities. This June, she left her agency and made a comeback.
