On October 7, talent Takahashi Minami made a live appearance on Fuji TV's 'Viking MORE' where she revealed that she had cancelled her wedding ceremony this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.  

The program mentioned how South Korean foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha is under fire after they found that her husband had taken a trip to the United States to purchase a yacht. Takahashi commented, "I wonder why they can't have self-control... I mean, everyone has given up on something this year, right? There are people who gave up visiting their parents during Obon season. Gave up on trips and weddings..." 

Takahashi, who registered her marriage with a non-celebrity man on May 1, 2019, revealed, "I was also supposed to hold my wedding ceremony this year, but gave up on it." The couple celebrated their one year anniversary this year and shared a photo on Instagram of themselves sporting matching 'Stay Home' t-shirts (as seen above).
