Former AKB48 member and talent Nishino Miki (21) has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.
Nishino’s agency explained on their official website, “What has been confirmed thus far is that she had a fever and felt fatigued on the evening of October 10th. The following day, she took the PCR test at a medical institution.” They continued, “On October 11th, she was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. She was contacted by the health center, and under their instruction, has been put in quarantine for treatment.”
If there are any persons of close contact, her agency stated that they will be contacted and asked to follow instructions from the health center. They also apologized for the inconvenience, and stressed that they will continue to do their best to prevent the virus spread.
