It's been reported that actor Kubodera Akira has passed away. He was 43 years old. 

According to persons concerned, Kubodera's body was found lifeless on November 13 at his home in Nakano Ward, Tokyo. He was rushed to the hospital where his death was confirmed. His death is being investigated as suicide.

Kubodera's agency stated, "Actor Kubodera Akira passed away on November 13. His family and staff are unable to accept the reality due to the suddenness of the event. More information is currently being investigated and confirmed. We thank you for your kindness to the deceased during his lifetime, and offer our deepest sympathies."
