On November 24, Johnny's & Associates started their new project 'AITSU' under the Johnny's Smile Up! Project.
Johnny's & Associates wanted to use the power of entertainment to contribute to society and came up with this new project to put more effort into countermeasures against both COVID-19 and the flu. Through a 210 cm tall (82.7 inches) right-handed character named AITSU, they hope to raise awareness on countermeasures for infection control.
At 73 locations in eight prefectures, Tokyo, Hokkaido, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka, there will be digital signs displaying the project's movies 'Tsuzukeyou, Mask.' (Let's continue wearing a mask), 'Tsuzukeyou, Tearai.' (Let's continue washing hands), 'Tsuzukeyou, Te no Shoudoku.' (Let's continue sanitizing our hands), 'Tsuzukeyou, Kanki. (Let's continue ventilation), and 'Tsuzukeyou, Social Distance.' (Let's continue social distancing).
These movies will also be uploaded onto Johnny's Smile Up! Project's SNS accounts.
