On November 18, talent Noro Kayo (37) made a live appearance on TBS's variety program 'Nakai Daisuke to Honda Tsubasa to Yonayona Rabuko-san' where she announced her engagement. 

Noro appeared on the program and immediately excused herself, saying, "I am very sorry." When directed by the program MC Nakai Masahiro to give a greeting, she said, "I am very thankful to have been given this time, but I am also very sorry." From the beginning of the program, there was an advanced notice that a popular celebrity would be making their engagement announcement. "I was very happy, but I couldn't bear the pressure of 'popular celebrity,' so an apology came out first," she commented. 

On her fiance and proposal, she revealed, "He is a TV director, someone I met at work previously. His proposal was, 'Thank you for waiting. Please marry me.'" Her closing remark was, "I will live happily... Thank you very much." 

Noro passed AKB48's second generation audition in 2006 and had been active as a member of Team K. She graduated from the group in 2009, then transferred to sister group SDN48. While she was the captain, she graduated in March of 2012. Since then, she has been involved in various projects mainly variety programs.
