It's been announced that Rakugo storyteller Katsura Kobunshi (69) has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. 

Yoshimoto Kogyo explained on their official website, "Katsura Kobunshi learned that an acquaintance that he had dinner with was infected with the novel coronavirus. Under direction from the health center, he took the PCR test on November 2nd, and was diagnosed as positive on the 3rd." They reported on his current condition, "Following the instructions from the health center, Katsura Kobunshi is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment at a hospital in Osaka City." 

Yoshimoto Kogyo promised that they will continue their efforts in preventing the spread of the virus.
