On November 2, the new members of ANGERME were announced through a video distributed on YouTube.

Among the 4,000 applicants, 13-year-old Matsumoto Wakana and 16-year-old Kawana Rin, passed the new member audition 'ANGERME ONLY ONE Audition ~Watashi wo Tsukuru no wa Watashi~.' In addition, Hello! Project Kenshusei, 16-year-old Tamenaga Shion, has joined the group. Member color white was assigned to Matsumoto, green to Kawana, and pink to Tamenaga. 

The three new members will be participating in the group's concert 'ANGERME Concert 2020 ~Kishotenketsu~ Funaki Musubu Sotsugyou Special' to be held on December 9 at Nippon Budokan. It will be the group's first and last concert with 11 members as Funaki Musubu will be graduating after this concert.
