On November 5, Aoni Production announced that voice actor and narrator Ginga Banjo has tested positive for COVID-19.
Aoni Production announced on their official website, "On November 5th, it was confirmed that our company's Ginga Banjo has tested positive for the novel coronavirus after taking the PCR test," and explained, "On the morning of the 5th, he had a sore throat, and on the same day, he saw a doctor, took the PCR test, and was confirmed positive."
They continued, "Currently, he is in stable condition with no symptoms, such as fever or sore throat. While continuing to thoroughly understand the health of our actors and staff, our company will do our best to ensure the safety of our customers, actors and staff, and prevent the spread of the virus with the guidance of medical professionals and government agencies."
Ginga is known for voicing Souther in 'Hokuto no Ken' (Fist of the North Star) and Gihren Zabi in 'Kidou Senshi Gundam' (Mobile Suit Gundam).
