It's been reported that comedian Akiyama Hiroki (29) of Hanaco has contracted the novel coronavirus. 

Akiyama's agency Watanabe Entertainment announced on their official website, "On December 17th, he had a fever of 38.5°C (101.3°F), so he took the PCR test at a medical institution in Tokyo. Today, on the morning of December 18th, we learned that he had a positive diagnosis." They continued, "His current temperature is 37.7°C (99.86°F). He is not experiencing cough, sore throat, or abnormality in his senses of taste and smell." 

Reportedly, Hanaco's Okabe Dai and Kikuta Tatsuhiro, along with other talents and staff are not considered to be persons of close contact.
