NEWS's new song "BURN" has been picked up as the opening theme for NTV anime 'Hanyo no Yashahime' starting in January. 

'Hanyo no Yashahime' is a spin-off to Takahashi Rumiko's popular manga 'InuYasha,' and it focuses on Sesshomaru's twin daughters Towa and Setsuna, and Kagome and InuYasha's daughter Moroha. On "BURN," Kato Shigeaki commented, "It's a number with a sense of speed, and as the title suggests, it's a hot, burning song, but its flame is not red and flaring, rather, it's one that is blue and peaceful. It overlaps with the members' hidden thoughts, so we feel that we've gained another important song."

"BURN" will be used in the anime beginning its January 9th broadcast.
