It's been announced that NMB48 member Kato Yuka has tested positive for COVID-19. 

Kato took the PCR test on December 3rd after she felt discomfort in her senses of smell and taste. The following day, her test result came back positive.

An announcement on Yoshimoto Kogyo's official website states, "NMB48's Kato Yuka, who belongs to our subsidiary company Showtitle, was confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus on December 4th." They continued, "She will be recuperating under guidance of the health center. Once persons of close contact are determined, we will follow instructions and deal with it appropriately."
