Release of Kame to YamaP's album 'SI' officially cancelled

TH STAFF

It's been announced that the release of Kame to YamaP's first album "SI" has been cancelled.

Kame to YamaP is a unit comprised of Kamenashi Kazuya (KAT-TUN) and Yamashita Tomohisa that formed in 2017 when they sang the theme song "Senakagoshi no Chance" for their drama 'Boku, Unmei no Hito desu.' Their first album "SI" was originally scheduled to be released on April 29, but had been postponed due to COVID-19. After Yamashita left Johnny's & Associates in October, fans had been wondering what would happen to the anticipated album.

Sony Music Labels wrote on their official website, "We had discussed its release, but at this time, it was officially decided that its release has been cancelled." To Kame to YamaP fans, they said, "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to everyone who had been looking forward to its release."
