Saito Kazuyoshi to release 21st album, '55 STONES'

TH STAFF

Saito Kazuyoshi will release his 21st album "55 STONES" in digital, CD and vinyl formats on March 24.

This announcement was made on December 26 during Saito's live program 'Kazuyoshi Saito 2020 DIARY Live' on YouTube. The singer was scheduled to kick off his nationwide tour from February of this year, but had to postpone it due to COVID-19. Since then, he spent his time writing new songs and completed "55 STONES."

Saito released his albums "35 STONES" when he was 35 years old and "45 STONES" when he was 45. As you can guess, "55 STONES" will follow this pattern, dropping when he turns 55 next year.

The album will feature a total of songs including his digital single "2020 DIARY" (released on December 16), "Issho na Futari," which is the CM song for Japan Guide Dog Association, and "Junpu," the theme song for TV Asahi's 'Jun Sanpo.' The Limited Edition will come with a DVD containing live footage and scenes from his recordings. Meanwhile, the Vinyl Edition will come with an original sticker.
