On December 31, THE BACK HORN bassist Okamine Kohshu (41) and actress/model Iriyama Noriko (35) updated their Twitter accounts announcing their divorce. 

Okamine wrote, "It's a personal matter, but I got divorced last month. If I were to put it in band terms, we would call it 'differences in direction,' but we thought about and discussed various things to come to this conclusion." He added, "We've ended our relationship as husband and wife, but we still have respect and empathy for each other as human beings. It would make me happy if you would continue to warmly watch over each of our paths." 

Similarly, Iriyama tweeted, "I apologize for this personal matter, but I would like to announce that I got divorced last month. I feel really bad for my fans and persons concerned who always support me for making an announcement like this. The two of us spent some time talking to each other many times. It's a positive decision. While we are no longer husband and wife, I hope to build a relationship where we can always respect our new paths and support each other. It would make me happy if you would continue to watch over us warmly." 

Okamine and Iriyama tied the knot in 2014.
