TH STAFF

It's been reported that voice actor Namiki Shinichi passed away on December 22. He was 50 years old.

On December 28, Namiki's agency 81 Produce announced, "Our company's actor Namiki Shinichi passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 50." They also wrote, "His funeral has been held with family only in accordance with the bereaved family's wishes. We humbly inform you of this with gratitude for your kindness during his life here."

Namiki voiced Gengorou Shimaki in the anime 'Muchikko Monogatari,' Terry in 'Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!! MAX,' and Matsuda in 'Hajime no Ippo.' He also served as the narrator for 'NHK Koukou Kouza Basic Kokugo' and voiced Paotaro in the educational program 'Hitori Demo Dekirumon!'

Our condolences go out to Namiki's family and friends during this time.
